Leith’s trip April 2023 with The Leading Hotels of the World
And just like that, Leith was off again exploring the world and finding the best and finest deals for our clients
Here is a sample itinerary which she will be glad to create for you! To begin your luxury trip, say “Bonjour” to Saint-Tropez, staying at France Hotel Byblos
Discover the charming town of St Tropez, as you wander and experience life amongst the market within Place de Lices. This fantastic market sells a huge range of foods including bread, pastries, cheese, sausages, flowers, olives, spices, herbs, fruit and vegetables. For lunch travel 10 minutes from the centre of St Tropez and enjoy the sea side views of Byblos Beach. Using ingredients cultivated from the local area and within the Byblos kitchen garden, this beach side eatery along the Ramatuelle coastline is a beautiful escape from the town and a perfect example of the slow life in the area. Take a walk back down to Place de Lices, and enjoy a friendly game of Pétanque. Do as the locals do, and gather for a game of bowls under the shade of the trees and in the warmth of the evening air. To finish off your beautiful day in St Tropez, dine under the direction of Chef Alain Ducasse at Cucina. The setting for this restaurant is fitting for the beauty of the food that is created, as you dine under softly lit trees by candlelight
Next stop – La Croix-Valmer. After a 30-minute transfer, arrive at your hilltop wellness hotel, Lily of the Valley
Set on the Mediterranean coastline in La Croix Valmer, Lily of the Valley welcomes guests to a year-round wellness sanctuary featuring breath taking views of the sea. Lily of the Valley’s guestrooms and suites were designed by renowned architect Phillipe Starck with the condition that all buildings must blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings and nothing could be taller than the trees. Lily of the Valley Colline Saint Michel
Dine on their specially prepared Wellness Menu
Next stop Nice, to the iconic Le Negresco. Just like a happy surprise which is constantly renewed, for over a century the Negresco has been writing the legend of Nice and the French Riviera. The striking pink-and white building, complete with a domed tower, is a National Historic Monument and faces the Bay of Angels. The most sumptuous suites have balconies overlooking the sparkling sea, but all showcase Madame Augier’s (family-owned from 1957 to 2019) exquisite taste
Dine at Nice’s culinary hot-spots, and afterwards join a local guide to experience the heart and soul of Nice, the Old Town
Vieux Nice is the city’s vibrant old town, with narrow cobblestone streets and pastel[1]hued buildings where shops sell Niçoise soaps and Provençal textiles, plus meats and cheeses. A daily market on pedestrian street Cours Saleya offers produce and flowers, and busy pubs and outdoor eateries serving specialties like socca crepes dot the area
Next stop – Anantara Plaza Nice, a 10 minute walk along Promenade des Anglais, and the newest hotel along the Cote Azur to join Luxury Hotels of the World
Delve into the dazzling glamour of the French Riviera at the Anantara Plaza Nice. Set within the Belle Epoque architecture of Jean-Antoine Scoffier, this renovated landmark is a jewel of refined luxury steps away from verdant Jardin Albert and the palm-lined beaches of the Promenade de Anglais. Since it first opened in 1850, the iconic hotel has played host to a collection of famed artists, politicians, and cultural luminaries. It remains a destination immersed in the natural beauty and elegance of the Cote d’Azur
Next stop – Monaco. After a 30 minute journey along the coast, cross into the Principality of Monaco and arrive at Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. The majestic Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo is set like a breath taking tableau on the Casino Square, with the scenic Prince’s Palace and Mediterranean as a backdrop. Its prime location, newly refurbished Contemporary interiors, and ultra-personalized service inspire relaxation, harmony, and well-being
Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo and Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, which is also a member of The Leading Hotels of the World

Modern touches blend seamlessly with the Belle Epoque spirit for a sense of the Monaco dream. Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo
Take your Monte Carlo experience to new heights, as you enjoy a panoramic tour of the region by air. Board your helicopter to discover this world-famous coastline from the sky
Before coming completely back down to earth, lunch at Le Grill. This Michelin starred restaurant perched atop the eighth floor of Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, offers an exceptional panoramic view over the Principality as far as the Italian coast. With it’s centrally located position, Monte Carlo is a great location to visit small towns and villages in the region
Finally, experience the world-famous Casino de Monte-Carlo. One of the most iconic playgrounds in the world for the rich and famous!
